The Necklace Park places great emphasis on supporting young people in their ambitions, such as with a group of lads who wanted to create a 'river adventure' for their first mapping exercise. With the guidance and observation of an adult mentor, an adventure was had, at which point the lads took responsibility for reporting their experiences in photos and a spoken presentation.
