Are you likely to run into herds of camels in Necklace Park? We often do where I live (in southern Oman), in fact sometimes the herds run into the thousands. When it's sunset and they're hungry, you don't really want to get in their way! There are just too many of them, and since they are a bit ungainly, if they're running, they tend to trip over things (like your car bumper) if you don't get right out of the way. If you are in the middle of a picnic, you must be ready to have interested camels come right over and check out the sandwiches. They're not shy, and they're always hungry. Imagine having a herd of animals the size of small elephants invading your picnic mat! You're safer in Necklace Park!
